ACDB & DCDB

ACDB (AC Distribution Box) and DCDB (DC Distribution Box) are essential components in solar power systems. The DCDB collects DC power from solar panels, protects with fuses and SPDs, and feeds it safely to the inverter. It ensures overcurrent and surge protection. The ACDB handles the AC output from the inverter, distributing it to loads or the grid. It includes MCBs, MCCBs, SPDs, and meters for safety and monitoring. ACDB ensures protection and isolation on the AC side, while DCDB does the same for the DC side. Both enhance system safety, performance, and maintenance convenience in solar installations.

ACDB (AC Distribution Box) and DCDB (DC Distribution Box) are key safety components in solar systems. DCDB connects multiple solar panel strings, protecting each with DC MCBs or fuses, SPDs, and a DC isolator. It manages voltages up to 1000V DC and is enclosed in IP65-rated weatherproof boxes. ACDB handles the inverter’s AC output (230V/415V), distributing it to loads or the grid. It includes AC MCBs, MCCBs, SPDs, energy meters, and optional contactors. Enclosures are typically IP54/IP65. Both boxes ensure safety, fault isolation, and efficient energy management in residential, commercial, and industrial solar installations.
